After watching the announcement on tv just now, it is confirmed that Saturday will be the first day that we all will be fasting.
the month that everyone's waiting for, the holy month, where we can multiply our ibadah and hopefully, gain forgiveness from Allah.....

So, happy fasting everyone, and may Ramadhan this time will bring more joy and happiness to us!

Fire Rainbow

Fire rainbow or in a more accurate term, circumhorizon arc, is basically an ice halo formed by ice crystals located very high, in the cirrus clouds. It is one of totally awesome natural phenomena that you probably didn't know about. This huge flamboyant lovely display of colors is really not as rare as you might think, and how often it appears depends mostly on location, and especially latitude. For example, in the US it can be seen several times a summer in each year in the same place, but in Central or Northern Europe it’s very rare and not in any non four seasoned countries such as Malaysia. Of course, this rainbow is not formed the way ‘classic’ rainbows are formed. Light passes through the hexagonal ice crystals via a vertical side and leaves through the nearest horizontal bottom face. If there alignment is just right, it makes the whole cloud shine rainbow-colored.

Everyone, meet N!xau

Looks familiar? Yup, he is our lovable, the one and only, Xixo the Bushman from The Gods must be crazy (TGMBC) film and its following sequels. Here are some interesting trivia of him.

• His real name is N!xau (Hah, try to pronounce that!). Lifespan: 1944-2003 (sadly, died at the 'green' age of 58)
• Before his appearance in the films he had little experience of typical "modern" living.
• He had only ever seen three white people before being cast and was unaware of the value of paper money.
• He earned only a few hundred dollars for his work in TGMBC, but by the time of the first sequel he had obtained enough understanding of money to negotiate a much larger sum to appear again.
• He had wasted most of his money that he earned due lack of knowledge in managing it, although he used some of it to build a brick house with running water and electricity for his family.
• After his film career ended, Nǃxau returned to Namibia, where he farmed corn, pumpkins, and beans and kept several head of cattle.
• N!xau had difficulty counting more than 20 (he probably then never heard of the word Algebra which it is an Algae + Bra. Lol).
• He was buried next to his second wife grave (I guess the Bushman is a polygamy community. Talking bout collectivism).
  

Wow! looks like Xixo is the real thing after all. No wonder he looks comfortable in his own skins.

today's cross culturer's class was held in apb at the meeting room. it was a very relax condition and i think most of my classmates were very enjoy during the lecture time including me until some of us fell asleep because of the soporific condition. what i am going to tell you is about what our lecturer has said this afternoon. i admit that what she said sometime touching our feelings, but believe me guys. everything she said is for our benefit and our future. from my point of view, she has makes me think deeply every time she enter the class and start her lecture. although certain thing that she said was touching our feeling but that is the reality which some of us difficult to accept. she talks a lot about malay and what she said has opened the mind for those who really think about it. sometimes, i do not think what she said at that moment but i think about it at night before i sleep. then i realise what she has said is true and should be realise of malay students especially. as a malay student, i should think about what will happen in the future in every aspect and every angle so that i can help my self, my race, my religion and of coures my beloved country.insyaallah...

FRIEND FOREVER!!!

Hai...i just want to share something with you guys. As we all know, sharing is caring right?haha.. Last friday at 4 p.m i went to see my friends which i have never seen them for a long time. i really miss them. they are studying at uitm shah alam same as me, but i never have the opportunity to see them. that is why i am so happy when i have the opportunity to see them this time. when i saw them, i was very surprised because they have changed a lot especially from their physical site, haha..but what makes me proud to have them as my friends is they are still "my best friend" which i knew before. although they have changed physically, their internal site still same. i mean they still remember their old friends and always give advices to each other. this is we called true friend that hard to find nowadays. i hope our relationship is never lasting and i also hope that i can find new true friends as much as i can.

stressful and sleepy day

u know how it's going to be in dr dina's class every wednsday rite? i've never met any energetic and cute lecturer like her, talking 4 hours even more without commercial break. can u imagine that?very fortunate to have lect like her.but i am still can enjoy her class with joke that she told.

WELCOME TO NEW LIFE!!!

This semester will change our life as we are staying and studying in new place, new environment and new situation. I also have a very new experience because this semester i am a non resident and stay in rent house. We have to be passion and control ourself when we are staying with our friends in a rent house because staying in rent house is a very challenging life. This is very different from college life becuase we still have "tok pengetua" who has the responsibility to take care of us and we also have "pak guard" who can make sure our safety. In rent house we have to take care of ourself on our own. one more thing that we have to take serious is about friendship. This is a very important matter as we will live with our friends until the semester end or until we graduate. Anything can happen and this will a tough challenge for us as a student. For me, what we should do is just focus on our objective for being here in uitm and whatever happen in our life we have to trust ourself because that is our strength.

The waiting is finally over!

As we all have known to this moment, the exam results of last semester are finally revealed.
Who are the top scorers?
Are the same faces from the first semester able to maintain their cgpa, or are there new faces coming to the list?

Honestly, I think that there will be new DL achievers. Why? Looking at the previous exam results, there were a lot of students in the group of gpa with 3.oo-3.49. So, there's definitely a big chance that they would conquer the top spot with the others.

Now, I'm looking forward to our semester in the big campus - more action, drama and challenges of course!!!

(p/s: can't help to notice the new 'look' of our blog. Fantastic! Finally it turns over a new leaf, indicating a year of its presence and also the time we're together in this course. Let us cherish the moment and I hope, no more or lesser squabbling or misunderstanding or even making 'poker faces' among us, if you guys know what I mean! - though those things did not happen directly................)

Superpowers

If you could have any superpowers, what would it be? Mine would definitely be the power to bring the dead back alive. I have been actively twittering during this long holiday and a few days ago, Crap Superpowers was on top of the trending topics ( stuffs that are most twitted about). The topic Crap Superpowers here refers to the power that people don't usually want, or sound stupid and sometimes don't make any sense. That's pretty much the idea of Crap Superpowers. Here I would like to share with all of you Applets on some of the idea those twitter people had on Crap Superpowers.

• The ability to cheat on tests which you already know the answers too.
• The ability to see dumb people.
• The ability to read Ronaldo's (Christiano Ronaldo) pay slip without crying.
• The ability to turn nouns into verbs.

holiday, HOLIDAY, holiday....!!!

Yee-haw! It's that time again which comes at the very end of every semester - HOLIDAY! Which also means, no more soporific atmosphere; no more yenta gossiping here and there about hot news or even cold ones! Interesting how life seems to be, doesn't it? Well, if you ask me, im tired as well as happy like a little child getting a sweet lollipop. Tired because in the first month of this holiday term, I went to three different houses. Why? Going to my older sisters' houses and my brother's too in order to look after their children for a while, I was a NANNY for a month, without a fixed salary of course! haha..doesn't matter.. (considering that I don't have other things to do at the moment before heading back home, so why not? this opportunity does not come by too often..although my brother did ask, "Hey, don't you have assignments to be completed or something?", I simply replied to him, "Nop, free as a butterfly, got nothing to do since it's holiday and just finished the excruciating exam - okay okay, not THAT excruciating, but it's tough when one needs to torture the mind for a while to squeeze all the relevant juicy memories to answer the questions served in front...

On the other hand, HAPPY, because I got the chance to see my cute nephews and nieces, hugging them, kissing their chubby cheeks, and making them laugh..Oh, that's heaven..don't you just love watching babies and toddlers smiling and giggling funnily? it sure did make me happy since I've had my first nephew, also the first grandchild for my family when I was only in Standard 4 in primary school. That made me an aunt in such a young age, but it's regular, not only now, because it's not really a rare thing..

To date, im at home, here in the east coast, euphorically sitting in my cosy bed, typing this post to be posted in several minutes time.....=) ..Need the practice anyway, if not, the typing might get rusty, who knows???

gtg, it's getting late now, need to get some sleep.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

i could call this week is the BZsss week for this semester. do u agree with me? every day is a discussion day, i could not find any free time to fulfill my hobby (sleeping, hahaa) fortunately i have to done an overtime job to finish my assigmnt.. owwwwwwwwwwwwww really bzness <-- new word.. muahahahahahahahhaa.. busy makes me crazy<---- (rhytm)

hectic.......

well, now i am in isd class, struggling to open my eyes... since the beginning of march, i hardly find a full weekend for me, for myself, without any distraction. my 24/7 is full with meetings and assignments... well, i am really sorry for my group members.. they have to book me earlier to settle the assignmnets together. guys, i am really sorry for the incovenience (wow!) or any problems i have given you.. well, i still could not suit myself in this busy and hectic world.. maybe i should learn howto be a stronger girl, have a stronger faith in myself, have a stronger mental and physical...

for next semester, i want to manage my time wisely, i want to manage my emotion well, i want to improve my revising skill (???),

i know i can do it!!gambatte!!!

some advice to share

talk is cheap...somethimes, i think if people cant say something nice,better dun say anything at all..bcoz actions speak louder than words.but to those people who r strong enough to accept other's criticism, they might think this way; sticks and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt me.so better write coz pen is mightier than sword..get what i mean???

Life is just a play......

The phrase is from a famous monologue from William Shakespeare's As You like It, spoken by Jaques, who act as Sir Roland de Boys’ second son which appear at the end of the scene. The phrase compares the world to a stage and life to a play of a man's life, and they have their own ways of life as the phrase said that they have their own exits and also entrances. As one man/woman grows up, they will play as many characters, which are as a baby, a teen, an adult and also an old man. Shakespeare describes all of stages as the seven stages of man and its all about the concept of humanity. Men and women share the same “character” in the play as they play in the play.

Whether we are men or women, we share the same parts, as a child or an adult. In social aspect, the men and women had differences in doing all the parts, For example, the men, typically known to bare a heavy responsibility in life. Although, men and women had a different “exits and entrances”, their period in life is same, as they through became a baby, go to school during childhood, learning love and life during teen, thinking about others and self in adults and getting old before experiencing the second childhood.
